Chaco, Roxie, Moose, Prince MoRee, and Armando are our actual animals. They are the heart of everything we make, and their photographs sit at the back of every book, so your child can meet the real five behind the story.
Real pets, AI-rendered, human-authored.
We are open about how the art is made. Our illustration is created with AI trained on photographs of our own pets, which is how the cast stays exactly the same from the first picture book to the longest chapter book. Every image that reaches your family carries a documented authorship trail: we direct the scenes, compose the pages, and choose and approve every final. The pets are real, the rendering is AI, and the authorship is human. We keep the notes.
The stories.
Our books step into the greatest stories ever written, the public-domain classics, and let five real pets make them their own. These are pets-led original stories that use the classics as a lens, never word-for-word retellings, and never borrowed from anyone's modern version. The depth of the source is honored, not name-dropped.
Made with care for your child.
Our books are written to be read aloud. Our Health-line titles, the ones that meet a family in a harder moment, are developed with developmental-psychology and pediatric-OT review and checked against peer-reviewed research before they reach you. We design for the child first, and we say plainly what a book is for.

Talking With Pets is for the grown-ups who buy books for the children they love. We collect nothing from children. A parent or caregiver is always the one who signs up or buys. That is a line we hold.
